Husband and Wife Moises Herrera and Marysabel Caballero run immaculate and exemplary coffee operations in Honduras. Their passion and attention to detail are reflected not only in the quality of their coffee, but also by the way they take care of, and develop the people that work for them.
Finca JR sits at 1,600 masl in Chinacla, La Paz, Honduras just outside of the well-known coffe hub of Marcala. This lot is beautiful 100% Catuaí that was fermented for around 12 hours and then dried on raised beds under shade for over 20 days.
This beautiful varietal grown in the near-perfect terroir and their immaculate processing techniques result in stunning tamarind-like acidity that complements the warm and comforting notes of brown sugar and caramel. This is a coffee you can drink all day, everyday.
