A beautiful, fully washed Pacamara variety coffee from Juan Diego De la Cerda’s #1 COE winning El Socorro farm. We’ve been working on getting this coffee on our menu for years : ). Pacamara is one of Juan Diego’s most award winning varieties.
“Paca-mara” like the name, is a hybrid of Pacas (a natural mutation of Bourbon) and the giant Maragogype variety, known for its great cup quality, tall tree size and giant fruit.
El Socorro is world renowned for their prized varieties, extremely high attention to detail in cultivation, and meticulous processing, which have resulted in multiple COE wins, and top placements.
This coffee is clean with lots of with brown sugar sweetness, tropical fruit-like acidity, and caramel and vanilla undertones.
