Norbil Pérez is among the longest-standing members of the Aromas del Valle Producer Group. His farm, La Chirimoya, sits at 2,250 MASL in Santa Teresa, El Campo sector of the Callayuc district in North Cajamarca.

A meticulous and curious producer, Norbil is known for his steady participation in cooperative trainings focused on productivity, quality, and post-harvest experimentation. Each season he refines his approach to fermentation and drying, motivated by a quiet persistence to improve with every harvest. Aromas del Valle, led by Iván Cruz Rivera and receiving support from the Progreso Foundation, integrates agronomic, financial, and social programs to strengthen its young member base.

Alongside investments in quality and infrastructure, the cooperative runs the Mestiza project to empower women farmers and weave social equity into its model of agricultural progress.

This coffee has chocolate and nougat notes, pear-like acidity, honey sweetness and a balanced citric acidity. It is a wonderful example of Cajamarca’s coffees that we love so much.
